Volunteering means different things to different people. Some have time on their hands and want to keep busy. Others would like to gain work experience and the chance to develop their skills. What is certain is that those who have volunteered for Giving Africa have had a huge amount of fun, and even fulfilled personal ambitions.
As a small but growing charity, it’s the active involvement of our volunteers that enables us to extend our work in Burkina Faso. There are many ways you can offer your support and skills without opening up your cheque book.
We are always on the lookout of people that may have some spare time on their hands and a skill to share. We do not have a central office and therefore volunteering opportunities are home-based with occasional meetings within London and the surrounding area to discuss and review your role. Below are some of our current opportunities, but please do contact us if you feel there is another area you feel you could contribute your skills and time towards:
Either helping organise our calendar of fundraising https://handsfreehealth.com/hfhealth/buy-viagra-online/ events such as balls, bike rides and overseas challenges, researching new funding opportunities from companies and Charitable Trusts (Fundrasiingvolunteerrole) or through organising your own fundraising https://sdarcwellness.com/ambien-zolpidem-online-10-mg/ events locally ….
Volunteer in Burkina
We currently do not have the ability to organise placements in Burkina Faso, but please do contact us if you are interested in hearing about future opportunities.
Volunteer Teachers (UK)
Whether you are a new or experienced teacher, you can help us engage and enthuse young people about our work. As a teacher volunteer, you could partner your school with our school in Burkina Faso. It’s an excellent way to introduce pupils to the issues of poverty and global citizenship.
Volunteer Communications and Marketing
As a small charity our resources are not such that we can invest in heavy marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the quotecorner online pharmacy needs of children in Burkina Faso. Support in social media awareness such as blogging can help us to extend out to new networks and give people the opportunity to learn about the wonderful people and culture of Burkina Faso.
Thank you to all those that currently volunteer for Giving Africa and thank you for taking the time to consider supporting us in our work.
